Some wallpapers from pics I've taken.
Click on the links near the image to download your resolution of choice (right-click and "save as" on some browser, right-click and then left-click "use as background" on some other browser).
If you want to download all of the 56 images in this collection for some reason compatible with the licensing terms, please do so from the full listings (no thumbnails included), browse for them in the galleries by hue below, to avoid duplicates and save bandwidth, or use the bittorrent link below.
Some widescreen wallpapers are now available, and more can be added if requested. To make room for those, I had to reduce the resolution choice for older wallpapers, unless featured.
The whole collection, including all of the resolutions available, and a few additional wallpapers, is available for download via bittorrent: torrent file for the full wallpapers package.

As everything within this site, these images are released under a quite restrictive Creative Commons license: if you would like to use them in any free software or content, contact me and I will be glad to provide the original images (larger than the ones available here) under an agreed free and copyleft license (such as GNU GPL or CC Share-Alike) or with specific usage permission.
If you need other resolutions, up to the limits of my camera, feel free to contact me and ask and they will be added to the site.
The various resolutions have been generated by cropping
an image with the proper proportions as big as possibile from the source
and then using a script based on the following command:
$ for RES in `cat res.txt` ; do echo $RES; convert -geometry $RES -quality 90 $SOURCE $BASE-$RES.jpg ; done
where the res.txt file contains:
1152x864
1024x768
800x600
640x480
160x100
$SOURCE is the cropped file and $BASE is the target
name.
